Update 19:00:

An earlier status yellow warning for thunderstorms has been cancelled.

It was in effect from 11am until tomorrow morning, but it's now been dropped by Met Eireann.

The status yellow alert, for all of Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal, is now in place.

Met Eireann says these counties could be affected by scattered thunderstorms and lightning, with a risk of localised flooding.
