A young boy has died in a farmyard accident near Enniscorthy in Wexford.
Gardaí told RTE that the three-year-old was struck by a vehicle near Carlery's Cross at around half four this afternoon.
The boy was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Investigations are under way.
