Tributes have been paid following the tragic death of a "clever" and "loving" three-year-old girl in a motorway collision.

The parents of Faye Dawson say they "will never express the heartache" of their daughter's sudden and tragic death.

Faye was killed when the Vauxhall Meriva she was travelling in collided with a Porsche on the M6 north of Manchester in the UK on November 19th last.

Faye's mother suffered serious injuries during the collision, while the 79-year-old driver of the Porsche passed away at the scene of the accident.

The scene was described by emergency services present as "traumatic."

Paying tribute, Faye's loving family said: "We can't see the future without you, it has left a massive hole in our lives.

"Everyone says how precious their daughter/granddaughter is but you were an exception, you were such a clever little girl who was very funny and had us all laughing all the time."

The tribute continued: "You were so loving and caring and above all very loved by everyone who met you. You're now at rest with your great nanny, great grandad and Uncle Jimmy."
