Gardaí in Waterford have renewed their appeal to the public to be aware of a revenue scam
The caller is claiming to be from revenue requesting bank account details to return over-paid tax.
Variations of an 051 number are being used by the scammers.
Gardaí in Waterford were alerted about the scam earlier this month, while three people have reported receiving similar calls today alone.
