Kilkenny's 'King Henry' to become Galway senior hurling boss, reports suggest

Kilkenny legend Henry Shefflin is reported to be named as the new Galway senior hurling manager.

Reports suggest the BAllyhale man is poised as the new boss however, nothing is confirmed yet.

Yesterday, Davy Fitzgerald was the man reported to take over the reins as the new manager.

The former Clare, Wexford, and Waterford manager left the Wexford job in the summer after five years in charge.

While Kilkenny's Shefflin led his club Ballyhale to the All-Ireland club title in 2019.

The new manager will be confirmed as Shane O’Neill’s successor later.
