Avicii - Broken Arrows

The latest single from Avicii sees the Swedish producer team up with US country stars, the Zac Brown Band.

Broken Arrows is another country-infused track from Avicii's 'Stories' album. On working with Zac Brown, he said "He's an amazing singer and has a really unique voice."

The video is based on the true story of Olympian Dick Fosbury and his struggle to find success as a high jumper.

In the video, the lead character struggles with alcoholism, leaving a daughter at home during the days, while he struggles to fulfill his potential on the field as well. Finally, it's his daughter who finally helps him redeem himself and become a world champion with a new style of jumping. The true story of Dick Fosbury that seems to have inspired the video by is likely far less dramatic, but Fosbury did endure criticism as he invented a new jumping technique. It became known as the "Fosbury Flop" and he used it to win a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics, revolutionizing the sport in the process.
