Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her friendship with Mariah Carey, describing her as a "guiding light"
The Stranger Things actress visited Carey's home to meet her sons Morocco and Monroe, and found that she instantly "connected" with the music icon.

Speaking on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Brown said "the reason is, 'cause she grew up in the public eye, she has so much knowledge and she's so wise, she's just been an incredible guiding light for me." She told the host that she had sang with Carey in her own recording studio and that "Mimi" had even sent her a message that day.
Brown went on to describe Carey's habit of breaking into song during conversations. "She'll just be talking to you and she'll be like 'always be my baby" she said.

Carey, 53, is over 30 years older than Brown, and had not even begun her career when she was Brown's age. When asked if there was a potential music collaboration in the works, Brown said "Potentially. She is always doing something, she is the busiest woman ever.”
