Gardaí are continuing their investigations into the death of a mother and baby boy at a house in Dublin.
They say they are treating their deaths as a 'family tragedy' and are not looking for anyone else in connection with their inquiry.
The bodies of the woman and her child were discovered yesterday, at the Beechfield Estate in Clonee.
Shortly after 3pm yesterday, Gardaí and emergency services attended at a house in the Beechfield area of Dublin 15.
A female adult in her 40s and a baby boy were discovered inside the house deceased.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Gardaí have appointed a Family Liaison Officer to assist the wider family.
Post-mortem examinations will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
