The body of a man has been recovered from a river in Waterford City.
Following a call at 12 minutes past nine this morning, the Gardai along with members of the Waterford City Fire Service removed the body from the river at the back of Waterpark College.
The body was taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford and gardai are now waiting for a positive family identification of the man.
