The South East is set to welcome royalty this Summer.
According to reports, Prince Charles is to visit Kilkenny City.
The invitation is believed to source from Paul Smithwick - a member of the Smithwicks brewing family, who was awarded an OBE in December, 2016.
Extensive security provisions are believed to be put in place across the city for the royal visit.

A firm date for the visitation has yet to be revealed, but reports suggest May could be a possibility.
