It was a quieter affair in Kilkenny than previous years as the Cats had to settle for the runners up spot in the All Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
But the city and county came out in droves to support the side that has served them well over the years.
The team arrived into Kilkenny Castle before heading to Nolan Park where fans were waiting for them.

While this might not have been their year, Kilkenny is a formidable team and will be sure to come back fighting next year!
