Croke Park big-screen contract for Waterford TV company

The content that appears on the big screens at Croke Park on matchdays has landed a new creator.

The Dungarvan-based TV company Nemeton have landed a three-year contract with the Drumcondra stadium.

They will be responsible for creating the content such as player lineouts and graphics.

Donie MacMurchu is the Project Manager for Nemeton Screen Productions.

He spoke to Beat News about the contract.

"This is something entirely new for us, we haven't been involved in big screen productions before this."

"Croke Park being the main stadium in the country and has got the biggest screens in Europe, it brings its own challenge but we've been delighted with the feedback thus far."

"We have been producing all of the graphic and video content and team lineup content since February."

"We covered Waterford v Dublin and Dublin v Mayo there just last weekend, and we're really looking forward to St. Patrick's Day coming up next weekend too."
