Emergency services are at the scene of an incident in Co. Carlow.
It happened this afternoon between Milford cross and Clonmelsh.
Carlow County Fire and Rescue Service say the road is closed in the area, and it is expected to remain closed for a number of hours.

The coast guard helicopter has also attended the scene this afternoon, however, it's not known yet the extent of any injuries.
