Every November, we spread positive vibes across the South East with Feel Good Friday.
For the five Fridays in November, we focus the spotlight on a deserving group or individual living right here in the region.
Our third recipient was Evelyn from Co. Kilkenny. She was nominated by her husband Chris.
Chris told us that Evelyn, who works as an oncology nurse in University Hospital Waterford, had to take a nine-month break from work earlier this year to recover from a serious spinal operation.
Now on the mend and back in the job she loves so much, we felt that Feel Good Friday was the perfect opportunity to create a magical day Evelyn will never forget!
We sprung the surprise in the most Feel Good Friday way possible - by getting our Shonagh to land on her doorstep at 7:30 am! Here's what happened...
First, it was off to Kilkenny's Pembroke Hotel, where we treated Evelyn to breakfast before heading over to Folkster!

Next, it was off to Folkster Kilkenny to choose a dress for Evelyn & Chris' renewal of vows.

Peter Mark Kilkenny was Evelyn's next stop, where the staff did a stellar job in making her gruaige only gorgeous!

It was then on to the big moment, where Evelyn and Chris renewed their vows at Langton House Hotel. Love was well and truly in the air...
