Contracts have been signed for work to start on a new school building for Loreto College in Wexford and Tyndall College in Carlow.
The announcement is part of a programme that will provide 4 new post-primary school projects and one new primary school project.
It also provides for these projects to be maintained over a 25-year period.
This programme was announced as part of the Government's Stimulus Package measures of July 2012.
