EARLIER:
An extensive search of the River Suir has been taking place today in Waterford City for a missing woman.
24 year old Elizabeth O'Brien from Poleberry was last seen between the bus station and Rice Bridge last Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Gardai and other emergency services have been carrying out a low tide search in the city today.
Elizabeth is 5 ft in height, black long straight hair, and around 9st weight. When last seen, she was wearing jeans, black top and black jacket; also possibly wearing glasses. She has a number of piercings on her ears, nose and lips.
