Hotel in Kilkenny re-brands with €750k investment

The Pembroke Kilkenny have continued their expansion by launching Statham's Bar and Restaurant last night.

The hotel is looking to grow it's business and has invested over 750 thousand euro in the new bar and the Mint beauty clinic.

Paul Broderick is the General Manager at Pembroke Kilkenny and he told Beat about the drinks they'll have on offer.

"One in particular we find really cool is the Statham's Ford Special.

"How that's served is that we actually smoke it with applewood which means it's smoking when it come to the table like the exhaust of a car.

"It creates a bit of drama when you bring it to the table."

Owner of Pembroke Kilkenny, John Ryan explained why they were celebrating the Stathams

"Statham's was the largest dealership in the South East for most of the twentieth century and we're recognising the heritage of the site."
