Irish Cannabis activist sends 'joints' to every South East TD

An Irish Cannabis activist is alleged to have sent 'joints' to all 19 South East TDs.

The mass dispatch was part of a wider campaign that allegedly saw every TD in the country receiving a 'joint' in the post to highlight the need for cannabis reform.

Some TDs are also believed to have been sent gummies with one final 'joint' going to President Michael D. Higgins.

The person believed to be behind the campaign is Martin Condon, the host of Martin's World podcast - who took to Facebook to share the move with followers.

According to Martin's Facebook post, 200 letters and "a rake of joints" were sent to TDs to raise awareness of the twenty years that have passed since Luke Ming Flanagan declared National Legalise Cannabis Day.

One TD has confirmed to Extra.ie that they received a "cigarette" in the post.
