Lisa Smith has been granted bail in the High Court.
The former Defence Forces member from Dundalk, Co. Louth is accused of membership of ISIS.
The 38-year-old mother of one was arrested and charged earlier this month after being deported from Turkey.
She had travelled to Syria in 2015 to live in the so-called Islamic State.
