A man in his 20s has been arrested by Gardaí in connection with an incident in which a 9 year old boy was attacked by a dog.
Alejandro Mizsan was seriously injured while playing with his friends close to his Enniscorthy home in County Wexford, on Sunday afternoon.
He's receiving treatment at Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin.
Gardaí say as a result of an investigation into subsequent related matters, a man in his 20s was arrested this morning under the provisions of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, 1997.

He is currently being detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station and investigations are ongoing.
