A man has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Kilkenny City.
It happened in the Market Cross Shopping Centre on High Street at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
The man has been taken to hospital while a woman was treated for shock at the scene.
Gardai were quickly on the scene and arrested a man in his 20's after a short chase.
