A pedestrian has died following a road traffic collision in Kilkenny this evening.
It's understood that the incident happened shortly after 5pm at a junction near Springhill.
The Kilkenny Ring Road (N10) at Smithsland, is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí and emergency services remain at the scene.
