A pensioner has died in a crash in Borrisokane Tipperary.
The man in his 70's died when his car collided with another car at Fortmoy Cross at about a quarter past five yesterday evening.
The female driver of the second car is said to be in a serious condition in hospital.
The road remains closed to allow an examination of the scene and Gardaí at Nenagh are appealing for witnesses.
