A protest is taking place in Waterford on Friday over controversial comments about a woman's underwear in a rape trial.
During closing arguments in a case in Cork, the senior counsel for the defence made remarks about the fact the 17 year old complainant was wearing a thong.
Protests are planned for John Roberts Square in Waterford at 4pm on Friday.
Meanwhile, protests are also planned for Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Belfast today.
