Section of Clonea beach closed in Waterford after suspicious box washes up

The army bomb disposal team has attended a scene in West Waterford this afternoon.

A suspicious box washed up on Clonea beach which resulted in an area being cordoned off.

The device has since been found to be non-viable and the cordon has been lifted.
