A second man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Waterford city on Wednesday night.
The 19 year old was arrested this morning in Kilkenny for assault causing harm.
Another 19 year old man was arrested in Waterford city yesterday evening in relation to the incident in which an 18 year old was stabbed while queueing outside a nightclub on John Street.
Both men are being detained at Waterford Garda Station.

The injured party was treated at University Hospital Waterford and is doing well.
