Volunteers recruitment drive for Leinster Fleadh Cheoil

The committee behind the Leinster Fleadh Cheoil are now looking for volunteers.

15 thousand people are expected to descend to the South East when the event returns to Kilkenny this July for the first time in 12 years.

Applicants will need to be over the age of 18, and Chairperson Nicholas Dunphy explains to Beat News what kind of jobs the volunteers will be doing:

"There's a lot of door staff needed to make sure that people in the competition rooms are kept quiet to ensure the musicians competiting get the best chance to represent themselves.
