Waterford economist explains Brexit implications for us

June 23rd marks voting day in the historic Brexit referendum.

Voters take to the polls in order to decide whether or not the UK remains in the EU.

The issue of Irish business and the affect an exit would have on irish trade is unclear.

Waterford native and Economist Jim Power says "there will be a question mark over how those companies will be able to trade with Britain into the future, I suspect it will ultimately be okay because some sort of trade deal will be agreed."

He then went on to say, "it creates massive uncertainty at the moment."
