Wexford family's home destroyed after tumble dryer caught fire

A family home in Camplie, Co. Wexford was gutted following a tumble dryer explosion that started a fire.

The fire spread throughout the bungalow and the roof then collapsed.

No-one was injured in the fire last Thursday.

Speaking to the New Ross Standard, Chairman of the Residents' Committee James Keating said the owners are in shock and devastated at losing their home of 12 years.
