A young boy is in hospital following a dog attack in Co. Carlow.
It happened yesterday evening at around 7:30pm in Green Lane, Co Carlow.
The boy was taken to Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The dog has since been put down.
Gardaí are investigating the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
