The story was doing the rounds all week that UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor and Boxing World Champion Floyd Mayweather were set to enter the ring for a bumper bout.
However, has The Notorious confirmed the bout is actually going to happen after this tweet earlier today?

Nobody would blame you for being skeptical about this one, considering McGregor also claimed he was back on the card for UFC 200 during the furore of his removal, only to be completely shot down by President Dana White.
However, with Floyd Mayweather recently not ruling out a fight, this tweet could appear to have some legs.
Mayweather said last night: "It’s possible. It was a name that was shot at me. The rumours that you all have been hearing are the rumours that I started. It may not be a rumour. So keep your fingers crossed, it may be a boxer vs an MMA fighter"
