Given the date, the post suggests that the baby was born on Tuesday and is the first picture posted on the social media platform by the Manchester United player since January 2022.
The footballer has not featured since January last year, following his arrest for allegations of abuse against his long-time girlfriend.
Greenwood was due to stand trial in November, accused of attempted rape, coercive control and assault, but the charges were dropped in February by the Crown Prosecution Service.
Various reports suggest that United manager Erik ten Hag is open to the prospect of the forward returning, although his future remains uncertain.

Pictures surfaced this week of the controversial player training alongside fellow United star Anthony Elanga and Irish player James Abankwah, 19, who plays for Serie A outfit Udinese.
Greenwood became the youngest footballer to play for United in the Champions League in 2019, taking to the field at only 17 years of age.
He has made 129 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 35 times.
In 2020, his performances earned him an International call-up, with England manager Gareth Southgate bringing him off the bench in a 1-0 win against Iceland.
He would miss out on last year's World Cup campaign in Qatar as his case went to court.
