People Magazine have named Chris Evans as their "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2022.
The 41 year old actor was announced as the winner of the title on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Evans, who became a well-known Hollywood hunk due to movies such as "Captain America" and "Avengers Endgame" said his mother would be very pleased with the title. "My mom will be so happy, this is something she can really brag about," he told People.
The actor follows in the steps of Idris Elba, David Beckham and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson in earning the accolade of "Sexiest Man Alive". His fellow Marvel actor, Paul Rudd was awarded the title in 2021.
