Eurovision 2022: The Rasmus hoping to represent Finland

The countdown has begun until fans from across Europe descend upon Turin, Italy for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

Hoping to fly the flag for Finland are The Rasmus. You'll remember them from their 2003 hit 'In The Shadows' and they've announced their intention to compete for a place to represent their country.

Next week, they're releasing a new song called 'Jezebel' and they'll perform that in the domestic Eurovision competition in a bid to be Finland's entry on February 26th.

The rock quartet have also announced changes to their band. They've announced that founding guitarist Pauli Rantasalmi has quit. He said in a statement: “I have decided to make my departure from the band and seek for new adventures and challenges in life.

“I want to thank everybody that has made this journey possible, especially all you amazing Fans, for the best moments and memories, I Love You,” he added.
