Louis Theroux signs on for new KSI documentary

Louis Theroux to exec-produce documentary about Youtuber/ artist KSI

Yo, it's your boy Louis Theroux...how good would it be to get Louis to do a KSI introduction just once?

The king of documentaries Louis Theroux has teamed up with the UK's king of content, KSI, for a new documentary about the self-made star.

The 90-minute film for Amazon Prime Video will follow the 28-year-old youtube turned music's star of the moment as he prepares for "the biggest year of his career so far".

Olajide "JJ" Olatunji, otherwise known as KSI, has become one of the most influential people on the internet over the past few years.

Starting his online career live-streaming himself playing FIFA, KSI has gone on to be part of the hugely popular Youtube collective Sidemen, been a pinnacle figure in the launch of Youtuber boxing as well as moving into the music industry to become a chart-topping success.

In 2021, KSI scored a number one album with All Over The Place, launched a European tour, and is set to perform at Wembley in February 2022.

Filming is already underway for the documentary, produced by Mindhouse and will give viewers the opportunity to see JJ in a different light.

"He is a huge talent, a totally self-created phenomenon who has gone from bedroom-bound nerd with a handful of subscribers to an online colossus with fans in the millions, purely through the power of his work ethic and his will to win.

"The documentary will be an opportunity to see another side of JJ, understanding how he got where he is, the world of a premium online content creator today, and a man who has made it his brand never to lose, as he takes on the music business."

Watford-born KSI said: "I'm super excited for people to finally see what I mean by 'hard work’.

"People will get to see the behind the scenes of the key events in my life and show them how I do everything I do."

KSI first registered his channel on Youtube back in 2009 and since then has been a pioneer in creating original content.

Recently, KSi appeared on his former online enemy Logan Paul's podcast "Impaulsive".

The two YouTubers spoke about the dedication of creating their careers behind the scenes.
