Stephen Sondheim & John Weidman's musical Assassins to run at Garter Lane Arts Centre from March 28th

Dats De Y Productions are proud to announce their upcoming, debut production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical Assassins, which will be staged at the Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford from March 28th to April 1st 2017.

Assassins tells the stories of 9 people who have attempted to assassinate the president of the United States throughout history. Their stories are told through songs and hilarious and dramatic scenes.

It is a revue-style musical that dives through key time-periods in the history of the United States, but from the perspective of some of societies biggest outcasts.

It is a very rarely seen piece of theatre, due to the controversial topics and challenging portrayals.

The people of Waterford now have a chance to see this funny, thought-provoking and memorable piece of theatre for the first time in over 15 years.

With a fantastic first-rate local cast including: Andrew Holden, Ray Collins, Rory Walsh, Paula Weldon, Gerry Kane, Cillian Jacob, Kieran Walsh, Dennis Murphy, Adam Phelan, Brian Tuohy and Anne-Marie Collins, this production promises to be one of the highlights of the theatrical year in Waterford.
