WATCH: Youtubers convince Carole Baskin to do fake interview

Probably one of the biggest stars of 2020 so far, Carole Baskin from Tiger King has been pranked by two Youtubers from the UK.

The docu-series shone a spotlight on Joe Exotic and the bizarre storyline of a death threat aimed at Carole Baskin, the founder of Big Cat Rescue.

Baskin is one of the few stars from the series who hasn't done any follow-up interviews after stating she was unhappy about how Netflix depicted her.

Convinced by her daughter that an opportunity to chat to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Baskin decided to break her silence on Tiger King.

The only issue however, was that Jimmy Fallon hadn't contacted her at all and it was a prank concocted by two UK YouTubers.

Josh Pieters & Archie Manners collected lots of old interviews from Jimmy Fallon and edited them to convince Baskin she was speaking to the star host.

The duo posted the video to Youtube where it has already amassed over 4 million views.

Baskin has responded to the fake interview stating to CNN that she wasn't offended by the chat.

"I was suspicious as we were doing it because the questions appeared taped. But had no idea it would turn out to be such a fun prank.

"It gave us a very welcome good laugh.

"I appreciate their cleverness and that they created their video in a way that I don't feel was in any way mean spirited."

This isn't the first time these Youtubers have gotten the better of celebs in the public eye.

They've created videos convincing reality stars to sell random objects and harmful materials and even got Katie Hopkins to fly to Prague to collect a fake Freedom of Speech aweard.
