We set out to compile a playlist of the essential albums of our generation on the Sunday Grill. Orla Rapple gathered a group of music critics, music programmers and Beat DJs and over the course of the year and revealed the 50 Albums To Try Before You Die.
Whilst many of these albums are from the Beat years (2003-2016), important albums from the 80s and 90s were also included. The list below is alphabetical and in no particular order!
