21 awards at the BT Young Scientist go to South East schools

The BT Young Scientist awards took place last night in Dublin.

 

A Dublin student has been named the 2017 BT Young Scientist of the Year for his project on protecting sensitive data.

Shane Curran’s “qCrypt” system won the overall prize.
