A number of events across the South East have been cancelled due to bad weather

Snow, wind and rain weather warnings have been issued for various parts of the country this morning.

The most severe is a status orange snow and ice warning for 13 counties, including Carlow Kilkenny and Tipperary.

Meanwhile, yellow weather warnings have been issued for Waterford and Wexford.

Freezing conditions are expected to spread southwards across the afternoon.

Here’s a list of events that have been cancelled/ postponed across the South East today:

  • Yulefest Kilkenny Star Project at MacDonagh Junction Shopping centre is postponed until Sunday 17th December 2017
  • Dublin Ukulele Collective concert at the Medieval Mile Museum as part of Yulefest is postponed until Sunday 17th December 2017
  • Inistioge Ball Run annual fundraiser for Inistioge Community Council is postponed until 1st January 2018
  • Christmas Market in Inistioge is postponed until Sunday 17th December 2017
