Virgin Media have announced they are bringing a new fibre optic network to New Ross by this time next year.
The investment of 1.5 million euro in the network will help to improve broadband services in the Wexford town
Local FG councillor for New Ross Larry O'Brien has said it'll help businesses in the town
"Its great news for New Ross.

As you know lots of people work from home and with broadband not being that good at the moment this will really help them.
It will also help anyone that's in business and many of the factories in New Ross.
With speeds of up to 360 Mb it will improve life for everybody."
