Ford is recalling nearly 8,000 cars in Ireland due to a fire risk.
The Mondeo, Galaxy and SMAX models from 2014 to 2019 may be affected.
A safety issue has been found where it is possible for battery acid to leak.
The company says it will contact all affected customers directly.
