Gardaí are investigating a serious assault at a Waterford Institute of Technology campus yesterday afternoon.
One man attacked another on the College Street campus in the city at around 3.30pm.
The alleged attacker was taken into custody and later to University Hospital Waterford with injuries.
Gardai say they are not life-threatening.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
