Ireland is facing an obesity epidemic

Education is the key to fighting Ireland's obesity epidemic.

One in four adults here are living with obesity, with a quarter of our children also obese or overweight.

'There's still this culture out there that obesity is the fault of the individual. Now we know the science doesn't support that so it is no longer as easy as just loose weight. So this is a disease that is essentially not curable so we want to present the science that supports that and debunk the fact that this is a personal choice.'
