A Castlecomer-based company is hosting their Annual Christmas Auction in the Gresham Hotel, Dublin this morning.
The sale by Fonsie Mealy Auctioneers includes rare books, maps,art and much more.
George Fonsie Mealy tells Beat News what people can expect...
"We're conducting a sale of over 800 items including rare books, maps, manuscripts and works of art.
There's some very interesting items from the arts perspective by Harry Clarke, original scetches of the O'Connell monument.
There's maps of Waterford from the 17th and 18th centuries.
There's books spanning back from the 1500's. Jonathon Swift, we've a book from his library signed by him aswell which is very rare. There's only a handful of those in exsistence"
