Kilkenny City's ticketing black spots revealed

Figures obtained from Kilkenny County Council have revealed that Bateman's Quay is Kilkenny City’s ticketing black spot.

688 parking tickets were issued along the quay between January 1st and December 31st 2016.

In total, 6,483 parking tickets were issued across Kilkenny’s 36 metered streets throughout 2016.

Following Bateman's Quay, the top ten locations were as follows (with the number of fines issued also included):

At opposite end of the spectrum, motorists appear to be on their best behaviour along Ormonde Road and Fr Haughney Gardens - where just two and three tickets were imposed on each of the respective streets throughout the calendar year.
