Lewis Capaldi is banned from Tinder

Lewis Capaldi has been banned from Tinder, Bumble and Hinge.

The singer revealed he has been kicked off the apps because his profile is assumed to be a fake.

Speaking to Steven Bartlett on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Capaldi mentioned he was forced to turn to a BDSM and kink centred site to look for dates.

"I got on this one, called Feeld, and I go on it and its so sexual .It's all about kinks and BDSM and I'm like, this is way beyond anything I'm tuned in for."

Capaldi described his difficulty with navigating dating as a famous person, and felt he should not be limited to dating other celebrities.

"What am I only supposed to date people who are famous?...I met my last girlfriend on Tinder. She was f***ing great. This was after I'd been famous."

He told host Steven Bartlett that his popularity with women has increased in recent years, as many people assume he is an outgoing and confident person.

"For some crazy coincidence more girls are interested in me now.Again its that thing, people feel like they know you, they've seen your personality, you've maybe made them laugh. People assume I'm a lot more confident. Some days I feel really outgoing, some days I struggle to talk to my friends."
