Searches are resuming for a man seen entering the river in Kilkenny on Monday

Searches are resuming in the River Nore in Kilkenny today for a man seen entering the water on Monday.

Kilkenny Sub Aqua club has carried out scans of the river bed near John's Bridge.

The Civil Defence will be flying drones today to search along the banks.

Divers are on standby to start a grid search of the river bed once water levels drop.
