South East multi-millionaire buys prime Wexford development site

Acres of land with plenty of development potential has been sold in Co. Wexford.

The exceptionally high profile, 8 Acre/32hectares development site at Rosbercon New Ross, has extensive river frontage with vast opportunity for the new owner.

It came to the market for the first time in generations earlier this year.

The location is currently used for portal activities with warehousing and former customs offices Zoned Mixed Use Extensive Frontage onto River Barrow, adjoining South East Greenway within walking distance.

At an origianl market value of €1.8million, it's understood it has been sold above asking price by a well-known figure from the region.

Local media reports: "Seamus Walsh, who owns Waterford Castle and lives in Australia but is originally from Mullinavat, has bought 8 acres of prime development land on the South side of river Barrow in New Ross.

"The site has extensive river frontage and it’s understood was bought for more than €2.2m."
