Spectators witness horror mid-air collision at airshow

Flight enthusiasts were left horrified as a shocking incident led to two aircraft colliding at the 'Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow' at Dallas Executive Airport.

Video footage appears to show a P-63 aircraft approaching a B-17 bomber from behind.

The smaller plane then appears to hit the four-engine bomber in the centre, directly overhead the airfield.
